Phase 2: A New Model: Experience Centered Design

“What is the appropriate model by which this organization can achieve its experience goals within the constraints of budget, time, and resources?”

Phase 2 is devoted to planning. Ardelius works closely with your organization's stakeholders to ensure that everyone contributes to the development of a new experience-creation model for the business.

We use our Ardelius Experience Design Framework ™ to model the ideal experience-creation environment:

Often, an organization views its target audiences merely as “customers” or “users”. The Experience Design Framework™ maintains a holistic view of the audience. It helps the organization to recognize that humans interact with products and services in multiple modes (they may be customers, users, clients or any combination thereof). In each mode, the factors impacting the experience and the processes used to create that experience will be unique.

Results

Phase 2 results in a plan for how the business can better model its business processes and investments, its product development processes and investments, its service model and its content architectures. The plan will identify where and how much the company should invest in what areas.

With the new model in-hand, an organization can map out its next steps, such as budget allocations, staffing requirements, training, new R&D, or restructuring. Ardelius can guide this next step in Phase 3, with an actionable execution roadmap.
